Body Metrics
📅 One Entry Per Day, And Saving Again Replaces It
Measurements are keyed to the date, not to the moment you typed them. Save a second
time for a date you already have and it overwrites that day — it does not add a
second reading.
That is what makes back-filling safe: put an old date in the box and it lands in the right
place in your history. A date in the future is refused, so you cannot log a
weigh-in you have not taken yet.
All three numbers are optional. Leave one blank and that day simply has no
value for it — it is not recorded as zero, and the trend line skips it rather
than dropping to the floor.
📉 What The Trend Will And Will Not Show
Show switches the chart between weight, waist and body fat — one at a time. It
needs at least two entries before it can draw a line; after your first save it
says so, and repeats the figure back to you.
Weight also updates the current weight on your profile, but only when the entry you
just saved is your most recent one. Back-filling last month cannot overwrite today's
figure.
Weight and waist show in pounds and inches unless you pick Metric
under Preferences → Units. Values are stored in
metric behind the scenes, so switching re-labels your whole history with no jump in the trend.
(The Calculators page keeps its own Imperial / Metric toggle.)
