🎂 Birthday Has A 30-Day Window
A birthday stays editable here for 30 days from when it is first stored — including one stored for you when you joined. After that the three dropdowns lock and you contact us to change it. The note under the dropdowns always says which state you're in, and names the exact date the window shuts.
It's all three boxes or none. Your age is what Heart-Rate Zones uses to estimate your maximum heart rate.
Leaving it blank keeps it editable — the 30 days only start once a birthday is actually stored.
🔑 Email And Phone Are Your Way Back In
Forgot Login finds your account by the email address or phone number stored here, and password resets and two-factor codes are sent to this email.
Changing the email takes effect immediately. There is no verification step, and no notice goes to the old address — so a typo here can lock you out of your own account.
The Backup email and phone are kept as spare contact info only — account recovery uses your primary email or phone number, never the backups.
Phone numbers are U.S. format — ten digits, punctuation ignored. An email or phone that another account already uses is refused, and nothing on the page is saved until you change it.
Clearing a field empties it. Don't blank both the email and the phone.
🎯 Fitness Goal Is Yours Alone
Fitness Goal / Intensity says how hard you mean to train, from Bare Minimum up to Extreme. Pick one and the note underneath spells out what it means. Leave it on — Select — and nothing is recorded.
It's private — nobody else sees it, and it isn't shown on any page but this one. It's a benchmark for the goals you set, not something qFIT enforces.
Different from Heart-Rate Zones' Fitness Level, which is where you are today and feeds the zone math. This one is where you're aiming.
🩹 My Problems Is Optional And Private
My Problems sits just under Fitness Goal and starts closed — tap its title to open it, and qFIT remembers how you left it. Tick anything that applies to you: a bad back, stiff hips, headaches, poor sleep. Nothing is required, and nothing you pick is ever shown on qFIT or shared with anyone. Every tap saves on its own; the Save Profile button at the bottom has nothing to do with this card.
It does exactly one job. On your Checklist, set the Routine filter to Recommended for my problems and you get every ready-made routine matched to what you ticked — all of their Targets and Exercises in one list. Tick nothing and that option never appears.
The card opens on the most common problems; Show all lists every one, and the search box looks through all of them either way. What each problem is, and when to see a clinician instead, is on Common Problems.
✓ Saving, And What This Page Doesn't Control
Every field here waits for ✓ Save Profile — the one exception is the My Problems card, which saves each tap. Leave the page with edits pending and qFIT asks first.
City is the only required field. A U.S. city qFIT doesn't recognize gets a warning rather than a refusal: check the spelling, and if it's right, press ✓ Save Profile a second time to keep it.
Reminder delivery addresses also live on Notifications, not here.
Time Zone isn't editable anywhere — qFIT reads it from your browser and keeps it current.
